We have been inundated with entries. The passionate varied answers we received to "What is your favorite childhood toy" could not have gone by without blogging about it. It seems that most of our Odd Friends are children of the 80's.

We were so naive in the 80's this statement just sounds really rude these days.

Chrissy Doll. You push her belly-button and her hair grows. Still have her!

This just sounds too creepy...Why do you still have her???? That said I used to have a Blythe doll that I loved and her eyes changed colour!

My favourite childhood toy was a cabbage patch doll called michelle, by the time I was finished with her she was drawn on and bald!

My Little Pony I loved their hair

My personal favourite was this one...

Mine was Blodwin, a handknitted welsh rabbit ( yes, really). She went everywhere with me, was vomited on, dragged through indiscribable things and washed and hung out to dry many times. Not only this but she had a totally amazing hand-knitted traditional welsh outfit...hmmm!!!


We can even begin to think what to search for for to find a picture of this one.

10 THINGS TO GET EXCITED ABOUT IN 2011

Happy New Year folks!

Hope you all had a great holiday? I must say it's good to be back after too much TV, way too much food and waaay too much time with the family!? Hehe

So we're all looking forward to a fantastic year in 2011. Check out 10 reasons why you should get excited about OddCo in 2011... (in no particular order)

10. Weenicons - 5 new figurines and 2 spanking new money boxes will launch this Spring!

9. www.weloveodd.com launches brand new website NOW!!!!

8. Teeny Demons - a huge relaunch of the perfectly formed satanic ponies will happen this Spring at the Birmingham NEC...

7. Dead Teds - Peter Underhill and OddCo will continue to launch more of the hugely successful Dawn of the Ted zombie bears range in 2011, starting with some amazing Zombie Killers in Feb/April.

6. The Bogies Blind packed figures and computer games - Australian toy company TPF will launch a huge international collection of our very own Bogies in 2011. Each blind packed toy comes with it's very own computer game code hidden within the pack!

5. Horrorscopes are coming - Terrific new 'star sign' themed Bad Taste Bears are coming your way throughout 2011, starting with the fantastic Aquarius in Jan and then Pisces in Feb. Keep a look out for your horrorscope.

4. Popmash is here - Expect some hilarious new Popmash merchandise this year, starring some side splitting new characters including Hemanilow, Beatlejuice and Godcilla.

3. Jabear is delivered - Due for delivery this month, Jabear is the biggest ever BTB outside of the 'giant figurines' and is surely a fantastic starting point for what is destined to be an amazing BTB collection for 2011.

2. Deadmau5 mini collectibles 2 - With a brand new album and a huge new tour under his belt, 2011 will be an amazing year for dance guru Deadmau5. OddCo intend to ride the wave of the success of series 1 with an amazing second series of figurines coming late Spring. Initial designs are already approved and we are sampling the figures as we speak.

1. Mini Mayhem - this is the amazing new range of chibi Bad Taste Bears from Peter Underhill, creator of furry fury. Mini Mayhem is due to drop this Sping and more images will be revealed as we approach the official launch in Feb!

Teeny Demon creatorand all round lovely lass, Heather V. Kreiter, has just returned from an terrorific show at Gen Con in Indianapolis US and Demon Domination was a complete success! According to Heather, the whole weekend was mind blowingly amazing!

If you live in the US and want to catch up with Heather and her Demons for a signed figurine or print, then why not visit her at Dragon Con in Atlanta, Georgia from 3rd-6th September...

We all know that we've got some amazing BTB fans in our midst, who have forever emblazoned bears onto their body with tattoos. With the new Teeny Demon figures due to launch next month they also already have a dedicated fan base with people who have expressed their lifetime loyalty!

The new OddCo store www.weloveodd.com will be up and running tomorrow 4TH Feb!!! UPDATED


Rather than host 2 or 3 different stores for Weenicons, Popmash and Teeny Demons, we will now run one 'mother ship' store of which you can purchase all our products. Bad Taste Bears and Bogies will continue to run through their own stores at this stage.

As an exciting launch to the new store, Limited Edition 'Slimed' Whoyagonnacall Weenicon will go on sale tomorrow at 6.30pm GMT. There will only be 50 available on the site, so make sure to grab yours while you can. Limited quantities will also be available through selected retailers later on in Feb. We'll keep you posted as to who these retailers are.
