Thanks to everyone who made it down to the NEC this week! We've had a very promising and productive show and are looking forward to a terrific year. Kaapow!
Hope you all had a great holiday? I must say it's good to be back after too much TV, way too much food and waaay too much time with the family!? Hehe
So we're all looking forward to a fantastic year in 2011. Check out 10 reasons why you should get excited about OddCo in 2011... (in no particular order)
10. Weenicons - 5 new figurines and 2 spanking new money boxes will launch this Spring!

5. Horrorscopes are coming - Terrific new 'star sign' themed Bad Taste Bears are coming your way throughout 2011, starting with the fantastic Aquarius in Jan and then Pisces in Feb. Keep a look out for your horrorscope.
4. Popmash is here - Expect some hilarious new Popmash merchandise this year, starring some side splitting new characters including Hemanilow, Beatlejuice and Godcilla.
3. Jabear is delivered - Due for delivery this month, Jabear is the biggest ever BTB outside of the 'giant figurines' and is surely a fantastic starting point for what is destined to be an amazing BTB collection for 2011.
2. Deadmau5 mini collectibles 2 - With a brand new album and a huge new tour under his belt, 2011 will be an amazing year for dance guru Deadmau5. Initial designs are already approved and we are sampling the figures as we speak.
1. Mini Mayhem - this is the amazing new range of chibi Bad Taste Bears from Peter Underhill, creator of furry fury. Mini Mayhem is due to drop this Sping and more images will be revealed as we approach the official launch in Feb!
Great News! There is a brand new Dandy comic available for you to get you grubby little mits on this week! Resident Bogies comic strip writer and Jack of all trades, Nigel Auchterlounie supplies the Dandy with a brand new Bogiescomic strip every week.
And now the Dandy are utilising Nigel's skills even more as he is also supplying them with a bucket load of other new funny material. Go Nige!
Check out this awesome new Bogies animation supplied by Mishme in Australia. Mishme will be launching Bogie avatars early 2011, watch this space for more news...
Bogies underpants available from NEXT very soon!!! Unfortunately they only go up to about 10yrs of age so I can't get any to fit me. Maybe a couple of trips to the gym....!?
Check out this terrific Bogies book that we had made to support our publishing presentation... Thanks to the team at Blurb, for getting it to us ultra quick (even when up against it with the magic dust from Icelandic Volcanoes.) Would happily recommend Blurb to anyone looking to have a limited run book made.
Just wanted to share some excellent Bogies World Slop artwork with ya'll. Creator Mark G has produced this artwork for a South American crisp packet promotion that will be taking place later on this year... I believe that you can collect free stickers available in packets of Botanis. Not sure what Botanis taste like, but I'm sure they taste nicer than Bogies? I guess we'll have to wait and see...
These have been sitting in the fridge for over a year now and so I thought I'd give them a little airing and show them to my pals on Blogger.
These characters made it to the sculpting stage but unfortunately not to full manufacture... My fave it the 'wiped stripes' who look like amber covered Jurassic Park insects.
Check out the latest instalment of the Bogies comic strip, written and rendered by our in-house comic strip writer and jack of all trades(master of non) Nigel Auchterlounie. This strip will be shown in the Dandy Xtreme later on in the Spring as a build up to the World Cup...
For more of Nigel's slightly more adult work, check out the spleenal blog....
