What's Gavin up to?
Somewhat delayed photos of Gavin Wilson painting varients of the 'Squaddie' Bad Taste bear. We eventually settled on the desert style camoflage for the final piece....
Squaddie is now available here from the online store. For every Squaddie purchased £1 will go to a War Heroes charity of our choice. Thanks Guys!

WeLove Competitions
WeLove to run competitions on www.weloveodd.com and last weeks competition was to win a Teeny Demon figurine. All you had to do was tell us your favorite childhood toy. If you entered last weeks competition find out if you are a winner - Competition Winners
We have been inundated with entries. The passionate varied answers we received to "What is your favorite childhood toy" could not have gone by without blogging about it. It seems that most of our Odd Friends are children of the 80's.
My Pink windmill and grotbags
We were so naive in the 80's this statement just sounds really rude these days.
Chrissy Doll. You push her belly-button and her hair grows. Still have her!
This just sounds too creepy...Why do you still have her???? That said I used to have a Blythe doll that I loved and her eyes changed colour!
There were loads of votes for this chap....
My favourite childhood toy was a cabbage patch doll called michelle, by the time I was finished with her she was drawn on and bald!
Check out the Cabbage Patch website for some true weirdness.
Dorable Dacksy the flipping, yapping walking dog - genius! And it annoyed my family SO MUCH! YUS!
My personal favourite was this one...
Mine was Blodwin, a handknitted welsh rabbit ( yes, really). She went everywhere with me, was vomited on, dragged through indiscribable things and washed and hung out to dry many times. Not only this but she had a totally amazing hand-knitted traditional welsh outfit...hmmm!!!
We can even begin to think what to search for for to find a picture of this one.
We would love to hear about more peoples childhood toys so be sure to let us know who you played with on Twitter and Facebook.

ROLL UP, ROLL UP...
Roll Up! Roll Up! And feast your eyes upon the most incredible, mind blowing and terrifying, freak show this side of Weirdsville!? Bad Taste Bears present Jean Michel, the bear that was never meant to be.
An accidental freak of nature, conceived when an Underhill Inc experiment went terribly wrong; he is now confined to his glass tomb, eternally, for all to see. You’ll laugh at him, shudder at him, and yet, but for an accident of birth, you might even be as he is. Part Bad Taste Bear, part crab, part octopus and possibly some kind of goat, Jean Michel is the bear that nobody wanted. He did not ask to be brought into this world, but into the world he has come.
Originally drawn in summer 2010, by competition winner Joe and re-designed by BTB creator Peter Underhill, Jean Michel has beautifully painted details and is frozen in solid, clear resin.
With just 600 available worldwide, each Jean Michel figure has a individually hand numbered specimen tag and includes a Certificate of Authenticity, numbered and signed by Bad Taste Bears creator Peter Underhill.
Jean Michel is due to be released on the Online Store on Monday 7th March 6:30pm for £35 + p&p. Orders from the Online Store will be randomly allocated an edition number between 1 and 200 on dispatch. This means that you could receive the coveted number 1 bear – traditionally sold for £100 – for just £35!
Numbers 201-600 will be available from selected retailers worldwide.
